As a result, one of my favorite travel systems is the Chicco Cortina Keyfit 30 Travel system
The car seat is good up to 30lbs, while the stroller is good until your baby is 50lbs. A few parents complain that the seat does not fit into a shopping cart, but it's not supposed to. Besides, shopping carts are not the safest place for a baby or car seat anyways. The seat is a bit heavy, but that should be expected from such a sturdy and safety oriented car seat. The stroller
“My wife and I have been very happy with this. The stroller is a clever design, fairly light, and folds up easily. The base for the car seat installs very easily, the angle adjustment coupled with the level indicator is a _great_ feature, and evenly tightening the straps by just pulling up on a single strap through the latch works extremely well. The car seat snaps into the base intuitively, and the padding and cloth are a much higher quality than the other car seats we compared against. I wish they would better mark (when viewed from the side) the latch that releases the seat from the base, but with use I know that'll become intuitive.”
“I just bought and put together this travel system...did it alone and pregnant and it took about 20 minutes to set up the stroller. Very easy, no tools, no small parts or screws. Everything snaps right together. Which is actually why I bought this version also, the seat just snaps into an out of stroller and car base. Very heavy, but they all are. My research showed that Chicco's car-seats are among the best-rated in crash-tests, etc. And furthermore, the Chicco travel system had the added bonus of holding an infant weighing up to 30 pounds. Therefore, we could get longer use out of it for our baby without having to incur the expense of buying an additional car-seat once she passed 22 pounds, the standard maximum infant weight for many rear-facing infant car-seats.”

“I've had this system for my daughter for almost 2 years now. My daughter is really petite and loves the carseat...she'll put herself into it when she wants to nap. This travel system has had several cross country flights so it has a little wear and tear, but works fantastically. I have a baby bjorn backpack for a diaper bag and it fits perfectly in the basket below when my daughter is sitting up in the stroller. I've tried other strollers, but none of them have the numerous cup holders and large basket that the chicco stroller has. Since my daughter is getting bigger (she's 21 months, but only 31 inches tall) it's a lot easier for me to pull out the stroller and snap the carseat into it (rather than trying to lug the carseat around) when she's taking a nap. I use this system all the time: Starbucks runs, grocery shopping, mall shopping, to the zoo, to the science museum...everywhere! I'm going to be really sad when we give up the carseat for her 2nd birthday.”

“I did extensive research on strollers before I had my daughter. (Excluding the really expensive strollers that would by no means be able to accomodate my budget) This travel system was on the upper end of what I could afford, but I am so glad I got it! First of all, the Miro pattern is adorable, and people comment on it all the time. The car seat is sturdy and well made, and it is very adjustable. I really like the inserts for a little baby (my daughter was only 6 lb 10 oz when she was born, and she's still a peanut at 3 months!) It clicks so easily into its base and the stroller. The stroller is also very nice. It is a smooth ride that even my husband enjoys to push. He didn't think it was worth the money to buy a moderately priced travel system. To him cheaper was better, but now that we have this system he jokes all the time about how it's so nice and that he's so glad he wanted to buy it! Also, there are reviews out there saying their newborn wouldn't fit into the car seat, so they never used it. Granted, my daughter was small, but she fits into the seat just fine, and she's still growing! I'm still using both the body and head inserts, and the straps are not even adjusted to the top yet. She is 10.5 pounds and has plenty of room to grow. I would definitely recommend this system to anyone.”

Personally, due to it's safety and reliability, I would definitely recommend this baby stroller with car seat travel system. I think the Chicco Cortina travel system is one of the best choices when looking at baby stroller and car seat combos. The price is also very attractive for this high quality travel system. The money that I saved by avoiding a $600 stroller was put into a non-toxic organic crib mattress instead.
